Delivering interiors to this standard depends on close coordination between builder and designer through the finish stages. Cabinetry, stone, lighting, and hardware all have to be resolved together rather than in sequence — a stone slab selected for its veining has to be templated and fabricated to suit the cabinetry it meets, and lighting has to be roughed in before anything closes up. Sequencing those trades correctly is what separates a finished room from an assembled one.

The Berndsen Company has built custom homes in Atlanta for over three decades, working in partnership with the interior designers and architects who shape each commission.
